When the COVID-19 pandemics restricted interconnection among the world community, domestic tourism in Pakistan enhanced sufficiently. A record of 5.5 million tourists visited the scenic northern areas. The marvelous mountainous view of Northern areas attracted the domestic tourists who would have preferred to go outside if it won’t have a travel ban. Around 4 million tourists visited Khyber Paktunkhua. Raja Nasir Khan, a spokesperson of the regional ministry of Tourism elaborated that “Our tourist season is still ongoing. The autumn and winter seasons are ahead, and we hope the number of tourists by the end of this year will be double than the yesteryear.”
