ISPR said, “Security forces encircled the well dug out [hideout] and [engaged] in an intense exchange of fire”. ISPR said that it has intercepted conversations between terrorists and their sympathizers in Afghanistan and India. The statement added, “As per the initial investigation, intelligence agencies have intercepted communications between terrorists and their handlers in Afghanistan and India”. The clearance operations are the results of increasing attacks on security forces. Last month, Baloch Liberation Front (BLF) attacked an army check post in Keech and martyred 10 soldiers. In the recent clearance operations, seven security personnel are martyred including an officer. Balochistan Home Minister Mir Zia said that they are receiving several security threats. However, security and intelligence forces are on high alert all across the country. Prime Minister Imran Khan praised the bravery and courage of security personnel in countering terrorist activities in Balochistan.
